The Data Analytics and Reporting (DART) - Performance Analytics team’s mission is to support the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Performance Excellence program by providing high-quality insights to drive strategic decisions and enhance the employee experience using an exciting new employee engagement platform. As a Data Scientist Lead, you will be responsible for understanding the employee engagement platform features and roadmap; developing a robust data asset for analytics and reporting and delivering actionable insights to inform and influence platform adoption and improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze platform features and capabilities to determine touch points and patterns that are meaningful to employee engagement, experience, and performance.
- Develop and manage comprehensive data assets to support ongoing analytics and reporting needs.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to assess employee engagement and performance, identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement repeatable insights to monitor engagement and performance outcomes.
- Collaborate with leadership and Performance Excellence stakeholders to define metrics and KPIs that align with business objectives and enhance platform effectiveness and adoption.
- Lead A/B testing and experiments to refine strategies and platform activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and improve employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing using compelling data visualization and modern story telling techniques for senior audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in a quantitative or related field.
- Knowledge of statistical software, including SAS, Python, SQL, and R.
- Applied knowledge of statistical methods and concepts.
- Knowledge of data mining and visualization.
- Subject matter expert in statistical techniques, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, text mining.
- Comfortable summarizing complex concepts into digestible information for broad consumption.
- Ability to transform information derived from data into actionable insights which relate to the organization's key strategic objectives.
- Strong story telling capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HR and call center analytics especially in employee engagement and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with social media analytics or gamification strategies, tools, and analytics.
