The Data, Analytics and Reporting Team (DART) is poised to be the central Management Information Systems (MIS) group for all functions in the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations. We are a global group with presence in US, India & Philippines.

As a Senior Data Scientist Associate in the DART- Enterprise Data Solutions team, you will utilize various technologies and tools to support data infrastructure. The DART team owns and maintains a scalable data platform that provides the flexibility to warehouse, integrate and manipulate multiple disparate data sources, including business-managed and offline lists.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify and build automated solutions for various business partners in CCB Operations.

Job responsibilities:

•    Understand and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains
•    Develop automated solutions for business and internal partners
•    Assess viability of new tools and technologies to deliver business value
•    Deliver new tools and technologies at scale to support MIS organization
•    Build and maintain tools to enhance data analyst experience and implement automated risk mitigation
•    Partner closely with business partners to identify impactful projects, influence key decisions with data, and ensure client satisfaction
 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (ex. Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Applied Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related field of study) or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in SQL; ability to write queries optimally and familiarity with complex functions
  • Manage and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical knowledge and/or experience using various data visualization (e.g. Tableau) and data wrangling tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL, SAS, Alteryx)
  • Hands on experience working with data warehouses to retrieve data efficiently using optimized queries
  • Experience with cloud platform by interacting with data or services
  • Summarize findings into concise, high level points geared towards the audience and visually depict key data and findings
  • Strong understanding of data and database methodologies 
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Thrive in a constantly changing environment with shifting priorities
  • Work effectively across functions and levels; collaborate with teammates in a virtual environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge of Financial Services, 
  • Demonstrated ability to use AWS Cloud Services; certifications a plus
  • 5 plus years experience in a quantitative discipline
  • Experience building automated solutions for end users
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment Pipelines and associated tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Spinnaker, etc.

Schedule: Hybrid Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

This is a Hybrid position which will require the incumbent to commute/work on site 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week.
