We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead ground-breaking projects using sophisticated analytical and AI methods, improving our global services' quality and efficiency. The role involves assisting the Team Lead in key Data Science areas by developing and supervising machine learning models, working with engineers to deploy algorithms, maintaining code, implementing automated data solutions, and exploring new ML techniques.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and mentor data scientists, encouraging team growth and implementing best practices.
  • Develop deep/machine learning models and statistical algorithms, deploying efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to integrate ML algorithms efficiently.
  • Write and maintain production-level code, ensuring reliability.
  • Apply data engineering for automated solutions and explore new ML methods.
  • Build data visualizations, detailing and presenting findings engagingly.
  • Partner with team members to tackle business questions and provide strategic recommendations
  • Lead key projects, maintaining high performance standards.
  • Find opportunities to optimise and expand data science solutions.

Skills & experience needed

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Statistics, or similar.
  • Significant experience in ML Engineering or Data Science.
  • Experience with the entire Data Science cycle.
  • Strong data exploratory skills and ML/Optimization techniques knowledge.
  • Experience with NLP models like BERT, GPT-2, ELMo, RoBERT, and CNN and using them to build products/services
  • Sentiment analysis experience is helpful.
  • Expert programming in Python, Spark, SQL, with Data Science and ML libraries experience.
  • Experience in Agile Frameworks (SCRUM/KANBAN).

Preferred but not mandatory

  • Experience with Deep Learning.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing, ETL, and Big Data handling in Azure Databricks.
