Primary Responsibilities:
Use and apply data to produce actionable insights that drive greater customer and market comprehension to inform launch brand strategies, help meet in-line brand growth objectives, and achieve improved customer engagement.
Thoroughly appreciate the assigned internal stakeholder business needs and priorities to help build analyses promoting business objectives by delivering actionable insights.
Mine and analyze secondary data leveraging advanced statistical techniques from disparate databases or sources (claims data, EMR/EHR, lab, and other sources) to drive optimization and improvement of therapy area commercial business strategies.
Be accountable for ensuring delivery of analyses with high quality standards, timeliness, compliance, and excellent user experience (routinely keep stakeholders updated on progress).
Comprehend the complexity and dependencies between multiple teams, platforms (people, technologies), and establish close relationship with stakeholders.
Provide actionable insights through analytics to commercial franchises at various stages of product life cycle (development, launch, maturity, end of life cycle).
Contribute to innovative experiments, specifically to idea generation, idea incubation and/or experimentation, identifying tangible and measurable criteria.
Education Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Master’s degree (or US equivalent) in Applied Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related scientific/commercial discipline.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must have at least 3 years relevant experience using data science to deliver measurable impact in commercial pharmaceutical landscape.
Expertise in mining and analyzing secondary real-world evidence data (claims data, EMR/EHR, lab, etc.) and proven record of being able to produce actionable business insights that drive positive commercial results.
Proven data science expertise leveraging advanced statistical methods, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence modeling and model evaluation.
Expertise to extract large-scale data from various databases using tools such as Python/SQL to develop data-driven insights in a scalable and reusable format also required.
Must have proficiency formulating business questions into analytical framework and translating results into actionable insights.
Advanced knowledge in developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive algorithms and modeling to support commercial initiatives.
Proven knowledge of business processes and industry/market trends within the pharmaceutical/healthcare space required.
Must possess ability to formulate actionable insights and recommendations from commercial analytics into presentations (using PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.) and presenting results to various levels of franchise management.
Must have proficiency in utilizing statistical testing and analysis and in AWS and cloud computing; and experience with data visualization software (Spotfire, QLIK, Tableau).
Must possess motivational and ethical stakeholder management and communication skills, along with the ability to navigate complex matrix environment to convey appropriately and confidently with colleagues from different cross-functional team, background and seniority levels.
Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to work objectively with minimum direction.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.
