The Opportunity
- As a data scientist within the Digital Media Growth organization, you will be a core part of the data science and analytics team, driving analytics-based insights to unlock business growth and the monetization opportunities for our document cloud business.
- We’re looking for a candidate who is passionate about deriving impactful customer insights and business unlocks from large datasets, through descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics techniques. and be able to provide analytics thought leadership through proactive approach with growth mindset
- The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong analytical, technical, and business skills, along with the ability to work with multi-functional teams, and the curiosity and ability to influence data-driven decision making by key partners.
What you'll Do
- Drive analytics for Document Cloud to unlock growth and monetization opportunities and hypothesis tests through analyzing results and communicating insights and recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional team including growth managers, product manager, GTM, finance, and engineerings to understand monetization opportunities, product/customer behavior and features, and use insights generated to make recommendations to improve customer experience and drive monetization.
- Be a specialist of stitching and calibrating sparse and noisy data across various data sources.
- Support regular ad-hoc data and analysis needs to better understand customer behavior, end-to-end customer journey, and monetization path.
- Define metrics/reporting frameworks and design and implement reporting dashboards and track Key Performance Indicators and provide useful insights
- Build and Analyze Document Cloud Customers Journeys across platform/surfaces (desktop, web, mobile) with an intent to suggest improvements in the journey stages and insights into optimization opportunities.
What you need to succeed
Master's degree in Computer Science, Analytics/Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field, or a Bachelor's degree in a similar field with relevant practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist/Product Analytics.
- Strong skills in a data science/analytics role with a proven track record of success
- Expertise in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B test analytics.
- Expertise in working with large data sets using SQL/Spark SQL
- Hands-On coding experience with at least one programming language (Python/R)
- Hands-on experience working with Cloud Platform e.g. Databricks. Ability to build and run data pipelines in Cloud.
- Expertise in developing sophisticated reports/dashboards using Tableau & Power BI.
- Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics experience is a plus.
- Good attention to detail and ability to stitch and QA multiple data sources.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to synthesize large scale data sets to generate a clear story and impactful insights.
- A curious mind, passion, and motivation to learn new skills, tools, and analytics techniques critical to tackle business challenges.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $127,300 -- $229,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
