We are looking to welcome a Senior Data Science Product Owner (m/f/d) to join our team in Munich, on a fulltime and permanent basis.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of data science and advanced analytics products.

  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and engage in stakeholder management.

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap based on business goals and customer needs.

  • Manage business requirements and translate them into product features and deliverables.

  • Translate business problems into feasible analytical solutions.

  • Manage the project, including timelines.

  • Perform hands-on data analysis, modeling, and code reviews.

  • Ensure product quality and delivery.

  • Oversee the product launch and provide ongoing support.

  • Convey complex analytics concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Stay up-to-date on current developments in the data science field.

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative science field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another related field).

  • 5+ years proven work experience developing machine learning solutions using algorithms such as random forests, gradient boosting, forecasting, and various other supervised and unsupervised machine learning approaches.

  • Proficiency in Python programming and experience with relevant data science libraries and frameworks.

  • Experience working with AWS services.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing analytics products.

  • Experience working in complex team settings including internal and external team members.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
