About this role

The Quantitative Research Principal is an individual contribution role with who works closely with researchers, advisors and senior most functional executives. to identify and produce research that solves complex business challenges on a global scale. This position is for experienced researchers with a knack for product management who are interested in conducting quantitative research, analysis and reporting using proprietary data derived from the diagnostic and benchmarking products they manage. Quantitative team members enjoy exposure to the full array of data related work: data management and quality; designing research and benchmarking surveys; statistical modeling; quantitative insight generation and some exposure to advanced data management tools and techniques focused on peeling apart ideas in search of insight.

What you’ll do

  • Engage executives from Fortune 500- and mid-sized companies to identify their most pressing business challenges and translate research and survey results into actionable recommendations that clients can implement.
  • Lead and promote best practice in design, execution, process & delivery of diagnostic and benchmarking products.
  • Communicating and presenting analytical insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Use python coding to automate assessment reports for Gartner Clients.
  • Product manage and work directly with clients on deploying proprietary Gartner diagnostic and benchmarking products.
  • Walk clients through the entire value chain system of benchmarking and diagnostic products.
  • Convert research and data analysis results into clear narratives and visually compelling presentations designed to teach ideas to clients and stakeholders.

What you’ll need

  • Masters (preferred) with 5-7 years experience, preferably in an analytics-heavy field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Policy Analysis, etc.);
  • Or Bachelor's degree with 6-9 years experience, preferably in an analytics-heavy field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Mathematics etc.);
  • Experience in research and project management experience as well as experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to identify relevant findings
  • Experience with data management, data cleaning, and data merging and appending
  • Expertise in statistics – descriptives, bivariate, linear and logistic regression
  • Experience in designing research survey questionnaires and creating graphical representations of data
  • Experience in directly working with clients
  • Python expertise is a must
  • Expertise with a statistical/coding package (R, SPSS, etc.) for advanced analytics (e.g., multi-variate regressions, logistic regressions, cluster analysis, factor analysis, etc.) required
