People Analytics Data Scientist

Position Summary

We are looking for a corporate People Analytics Data Scientist reporting to the Head of People Analytics Innovation and Data Science.

In this role, you will design, build and deliver best practices in People Data & Analytics across the business globally and within our zones. You will also deliver innovation in analytical approaches to understand and mitigate people driven risk to business.

A day in the life...

-Build new – and improve existing – statistical models to analyze and predict the behaviors of the Nestlé workforce

-Innovate, code, report and discover information hidden in vast amounts of data that will help us to make ever smarter decisions

-Apply data mining techniques, conduct statistical analysis and build high quality prediction systems

-Help deliver People Analytics solutions to the Nestlé businesses in the region through the application of Descriptive and Predictive analytics to tackle business impacting people challenges 

-Innovate with automation and machine learning to design best in class solutions that can be industrialized

-Bring added value to the business by combining high standards, brilliant customization and a collaborative, end-to-end approach

-Deliver standards, frameworks, tools and methodology for people analytics & Business Intelligence. 

-Provide consultation & advice in designing any new build dashboard and solutions for the region.

-Participate in cross-CoC and CoS HR master data and analytics governance bodies to ensure seamless, end-to-end alignment across HR, and consistent HR services delivery to all zones, businesses, functions and markets.

What will make you successful?

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Skills in statistical analytics and hands-on programming experience in R
  • Basic level of with SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse solutions and databases
  • Experience with designing end user reports with Power BI is desirable
  • Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript is desirable
  • Design and deliver standards, frameworks, tools and methodology for Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions and dashboards for the region.
  • Understanding of Project Management and Delivery
  • Understanding of working within a Matrix environment; achieving results through effective influencing, collaborating

  • Degree Level education (Masters or PHD preferable) in Data Science, Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Application of Data Analysis using HR Data
  • Basic application of data science techniques
