Marketing Analytics - let’s introduce ourselves
The Marketing Analytics Team is a talented team with strong data analytics capabilities and a deep understanding of the marketing funnel performance. It is a team of data analysts and data scientists that support the global Marketing organisation with the right data, results, and insights. The team’s purpose is to provide measurement and analysis to drive the business outcomes and analyse the impact of our marketing and media activities.

Marketing Data Scientist– this is what you’ll do
We are looking for a data scientist to play a key role in the analysis of marketing. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in data science with deep experience in measurement and testing applied to marketing to generate consumer insights, mix models, and enhance marketing strategies.

You will partner with stakeholders in analytics, media, planning, strategy, sales, and finance to develop solutions to optimise the effectiveness of media investment and enhance insights and positioning capabilities to bring brand data to strategy discussions. You will maintain a global scope and work with teams operating across regions.

You will drive the full lifecycle of a data science project, from inception to data preparation, analysis, recommendations and beyond.

You will collaborate across cross-functional stakeholder teams, managing opportunities and
challenges that improve processes and help stakeholders become more data savvy.

You will run ad-hoc analysis of marketing campaign activities, as well as the generation of benchmarks and targets for upcoming events.

The team is now expanding, and we are looking for a team player with a pragmatic can-do attitude and enjoys problem solving. In this role, it’s your ambition, experience & strategic drive that matter.  


You have proven experience as a data scientist or an equivalent role using advanced statistical modelling to guide stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. 

You have experience applying statistical techniques to generate practical solutions for
business problems, such as regression, forecasting, clustering, and survival analysis.

You can conduct written and verbal presentations to explain complex topics and share insights to multiple levels of stakeholders with clarity and in simple terms.

You write quality code that is easy to understand and maintain, are proficient in code versioning tools such as Git, and are comfortable working in Unix terminal environments.

You have strong proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (e.g. pandas, stats models, matplotlib, pymc) and SQL to obtain, manipulate, and analyse data. 

You have experience building data pipelines and data science models on different platforms, automating, and streamlining processes and providing innovative solutions to the business.

Further, you have a passion for marketing, data and can decompose complex solutions and insights into a simple narrative for the rest of the company.

Qualifications:
•    5+ years of experience in Data Science or Data Engineering
•    Excellent communication, presentation & stakeholder management skills 
•    Experience from working in a global/regional organization.
•    Advanced experience working with Machine Learning, predictive analytics, regression analysis and other data science techniques.
•    Strong knowledge of other data related areas, including Google Analytics, CRM Marketing, Paid Media Platforms is an advantage.
•    Good working understanding of Snowflake, AWS, GCP and other data storage platforms.
•    Fluent English written and spoken.
•    Strong knowledge in Marketing Mix Modelling
•    Solid Python skills are required.
 

Location: London or Gothenburg preferred. International travel may be required.
