We are looking for a highly motivated, result driven Inventory Planner - Data Scientist to strengthen the team of Global Inventory Planning in WGLS Spare Part Business. The possible locations are Vaasa – Finland, Trieste – Italy and Kampen - Holland.
The ideal candidate should be interested or motivated in data analytics and process developing, the main focus is on supporting the migration from current APO to Extended Service Parts Planning (eSPP) and to Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP).

Data analysis and Machine Learning knowledge are also key aspects.


What will you be doing:


As part of Global Planning Team the following cross-location activities are developed in coordination with the other functions within Supply Team: 

  • Inventory and performances monitoring
  • Managing purchasing lots (EOQ)
  • Material revision based on Stocking Rules
  • Forecast monitoring
  • Support the automatization and developing of processes
  • Knowledge sharing among main Stakeholders (Products, Categories and Sales -Customer behaviours)

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

  • Education: M.Sc. Statistics, IT or Engineering
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, planning or similar fields
  • SAP/MRP knowledge
  • Active approach to work. Excellent, proven team working skills in a self-steering team
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Service mind set, openness and flexibility, as well as the ability to make things happen
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good command in English both written and spoke
