About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Computer Science student to join our team as an intern. Responsibilities:

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop prototypes for AI/ML enabled applications in the fleet space

  • Analyze and process large datasets, including fuel transactions and telematics data

  • Leverage machine learning techniques such as classification and regression to develop predictive models

  • Implement algorithms using Python, OpenAI, LangChain, and Dataiku

  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of innovative AI/ML solutions

  • Participate in team meetings and present your work to stakeholders

Experience You'll Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • Strong programming skills, with proficiency in Python

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks, such as OpenAI and LangChain

  • Familiarity with data processing and analysis tools, such as Dataiku

  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques, including classification and regression

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Demonstrated interest in the fleet industry and AI/ML applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with telematics or fuel transaction data

  • Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques and deep learning frameworks

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
