About the Role
You will support the product areas in their regular responsibilities and deliverables and engage in project-based work. Most of the software development occurs in R with a setup RStudio and Shiny servers with DB connectivity through e.g. REST API, ODBC, ADO and, for collaboration on software projects, use of git for version control with repository hosting on Azure DevOps.

Swiss Re is a leading global reinsurer, leveraging its expertise in risk to allocate capital to the most attractive and diversified risk pools while actively optimizing its asset and liability portfolio. The Market Risk Management (MRM) team is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial market risks, such as interest rate, credit, and equity risks, that Swiss Re faces through its asset portfolio and embedded market risks in structured (re)insurance transactions and insurance-linked securities.
The MRM team operates in Zurich, London, New York City/Armonk, and Bangalore, and the role will engage with all three product areas within MRM: Credit & Equities, Treasury & Rates, and (Re)Insurance Transactions.
