Education:   Graduate/ MBA/ M.Sc (Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/Operations Research)
 
Job summary
Looking for a high-caliber experienced professional with a focus on using advanced analytics tools and techniques to:

  • Develop data driven analytics framework to solve people related business problem of an organization
  • Collaborate with HR team members and external stakeholders to understand their business outcomes and provide them with relevant data-driven insights.
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models using the most appropriate AI/ML algorithms to identify trends, patterns and forecast outcomes related with workforce optimization and workforce sourcing and strategy 
  • Drive the Talent analytics agenda with the business

 
Key responsibilities

  • Maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders (including the Executive Layer), to keep on the pulse of what is important to leadership and build relevant analysis and interpretation.
  • Continuously improve existing HR data inventory through appropriate data quality check and rectify the data quality issues.
  • Build dashboards, analyse trends, and communicate results that drive the organization to action.
  • Identify appropriate use cases in workforce domain (eg: Attrition model, employee lifetime value, Cost optimization and increase profitability etc) , create Data driven analytics framework and subsequent development of AI/ML models to solve such problems.
  • Report the data insights to stakeholders and team leadership in layman’s language
  • Model deployment / Monitoring/tweaking at appropriate time periods
  • Drive automation in the People analytics ecosystem

Qualifications, experience, skills

  • Batchelors/Master’s degree (Mathematics/Statistics/Econometrics/Operations Research) or MBA
  • Manage project lifecycle with stakeholders to understand requirements, assess complexity, determine timelines, and deliver.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivots, vlookups, conditional formatting etc 
  • Experience in mining large amount of data-both structured and unstructured- for quality check, data transformation data preparation for further analysis
  • Excellent programming skills in one of the programming skills to handle large data (Python/R/SAS)
  • Experience with data management and visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Pandas, NumPy
  • Knowledge of statistical tools (Hypothesis testing, Correlation& Regression, Clustering algorithms, Time series forecasting, etc)
  • Experienced in building predictive and prescriptive models using statistical techniques, ML algorithms and Optimization techniques (Linear/Non linear/Integer programming)
  • Experienced in Model deployment (OnPrem/Cloud) and Model maintenance
  • Experience in employee pulse survey analysis/ experience survey analysis and employee sentiment analysis using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques
  • Develop meaningful and accurate stories using data insights
  • Basics of GenAI
  • Knowledge of Big Data businesses and technical concepts
  • Experience of working with Technology Partners (Software Vendors, System Integrators) in the data & GenAI & AI/ML space
