Job Description

Visa is looking for an individual to join our Data Science practice with a strong background in marketing measurement to lead the Data Science Marketing team. Lead the model development, data-driven solutions, advancing measurement capabilities, automation, visualization and optimization of Marketing Campaign Measurement including CRM Campaigns.

The potential candidate will be based in São Paulo and will be responsible for the measurement of CRM strategy in conjunction with marketing.

Potential engagements could include deployment of Marketing Campaigns measurement strategy, including the measurement of the full-cycle marketing campaigns (portfolio segmentation, follow-up, results measurement), implementation of current segmentations and scores to Visa’s cardholders, optimization of customer servicing processes assessment of portfolio lifecycle actions, among others.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Establish strategic measurement framework to evaluate marketing campaigns including methodologies, visualization and data pipeline automation.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive metrics (KPIs and OKR) to accurately measure the success and impact of our marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the design and execution of experiments to measure the impact of different marketing strategies.
  • Use data and apply statistical techniques to interpret data and generate insights that influence marketing strategy.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing quality control measures
  • Develop and implement automated data pipelines to measure campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing team to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the marketing team and the wider organization.
  • Lead a small group of data scientists for marketing analytics to drive data-driven decision making within the Marketing organization
  • Responsible for the full cycle of Data Science process from design, peer testing, deployment, measurement, integrity, and calibration and performance improvements
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CRM strategies and make recommendations for improvement
  • Prepare the materials and review lessons learned to be presented on the monthly Marketing and CRM committees

Incumbents applying for the role should be motivated, analytic individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and high impact solutions to support the business growth and performance. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with clients and across the Visa organization.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, science) and or business administration. MBA preferred


Preferred qualifications

  • +12 years of relevant industry experience in Analytics and CRM, including the full campaign execution cycle, such as: Journeys automation, Campaign Datamart structure, Campaign segmentation, result measurement methodologies
  • At least 7 years of experience in managing people/teams
  • At least 10 years of experience in Banking/ Payment, Retailers or Service industry


Required Skills

  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau, PowerBI or Excel.
  • Proven Hands-on experience in advanced analytics and statistical modeling including Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Clustering methods (e.g. K-means), Classification methods (Decision Trees/Random Forest), among others.
  • Hands-on experience extracting and manipulating large datasets (Big Data) using standard tools such as Hadoop (Hive), Spark, Python, SQL, etc.
  • Must be passionate about automation and data and able to deliver high quality work.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Substantial problem-solving ability with strategic focus on impacting ROI
  • Excellent project management, organizational and presentational skills.
  • Strong teamwork, relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task various projects while meeting required deadlines.
  • Fluency in English/ Portuguese (spoken/written), Spanish is a plus
