The position 

We are looking for Statistical Programming Specialists within the therapeutic area of cardiovascular and chronic kidney disease.

You will leverage your expertise to challenge existing standards and drive impactful solutions. With a result-oriented approach, you will break down complex issues into practical solutions while optimizing business results. Effective communication skills will be key as you explain technical concepts to peers and actively seek and incorporate feedback.

As a strong statistical programmer you will cover:

  • Phase 2 and/or a phase 3 clinical studies
  • Coordination and bridging knowledge between Biostatistics, Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM)  programmers and Data Management
  • Collaboration with other stakeholders such as medical doctors, safety surveillance advisers and medical writers
  • Responsibilities within submission of clinical study data to authorities

Qualifications

The core requirements to succeed in these positions are:

  • MSc, PhD in Natural or Technical Sciences (or equivalent theoretical background – please qualify in application)
  • At least 5-7 years of experience after graduation within clinical development or biostatistics
  • Expert programmer within R, SAS, and/or Python
  • Experience within submission preparation of clinical data to authorities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive project progress, setting the direction with foresight and proactive decision-making

About the department 

Our Biostatistics organisation is 400 people with the majority located in Denmark and India, and smaller teams in Spain, China, Japan, UK and US. Primarily we perform our statistical programming work in-house, thus we offer a wide variety of tasks and challenges and provide a strong scientific community.

Biostatistics is part of the larger Data Science organisation. Through data creation, collection, curation, and analysis we provide insights that contribute to the discovery and development of innovative healthcare solutions.
