What you are going to do

You will be working on a data product to creatively solve business issues. You will work closely with colleagues in the Strategy & Data team and colleagues from the business to come up with the best solution. You always keep in mind the value your data product adds for our customers and colleagues. You pay great attention to the (high) quality of the data product and involve stakeholders in its development and operation. You also play an important role in analyzing our commercial performance so that it can be further improved with your clear advice

Who you are

You love to add value by cleverly using data and data products. For this, you like to talk to various internal clients to map out their challenges and problems. You then link this to creative data solutions that you develop yourself. You are always looking for the question behind the question and advise stakeholders to make maximum impact.

You develop, among other things, data analyses, dashboards, machine learning algorithms, and AI applications. Explainability and the ability to translate insights from data into business applications are important. With your positive critical thinking skills, you also contribute continuously to the further development of the Strategy & Data team.

Furthermore, you have:

• An academic level of education with at least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
• Strong communication skills in Dutch: you work together with the client to formulate the question and provide advice based on it
• Skilled in programming in SQL and Python
• Knowledge of and experience with data science process standards such as training, testing, validation, etc
• Experience with data transformation, data visualization, and modeling
• Experience in financial services is a plus
