Your Future Responsibilities are: 


Welcome to the newly established Data, Digital Sales & Engagement unit. We add value by providing strong capabilities for delivering great digital engagements to our customers, insights to support our commercial activities as well as ensure the data availability, governance and quality needed in support of Personal Banking´s customers and business plans. As a member of the team you’ll play a valuable role in ensuring we leverage the data as well as the analytical capabilities across Nordea to deliver relevant and targeted customer engagements and identify key business opportunities. 
 
You will be working closely with Digital Sales & Engagement, the Commercial Hubs, representatives from the Branch network and Contact Centre in Personal Banking, to develop insights and customer targeting to support the steer of our commercial activities and digital engagements.  

It will be of great importance to collaborate closely with colleagues across the bank, such as Group Data Management Office, Group Finance, One Tech, Digital Wealth and Transaction Banking to ensure we develop our data foundation and analytical capabilities to become an even better bank for our customers and in support of Personal Banking´s business goals. 


You’ll join a team of analysts bringing a wide range of capabilities in order to drive our proactivity, relevance and engagement towards our customers even higher. The role can be situated in any of the Nordic Capitals.  
 
What you’ll be doing: 

  • Enable our colleagues across Personal Banking to become even more data and insights driven in how we serve our customers 
  • You will be responsible for driving analytic solutions & designs to guide personalization for marketing efforts using data from various channels: Web, Net/Mobile, CRM system etc.  
  • You will be using statistics, data mining, machine learning techniques to deliver data driven insights and solutions 
  • You’ll join the Nordic Personal Banking Analytics team (unit of Data, Digital Sales & Engagement), driving Nordea's analytic mandate to support Personal Banking across multiple functions such as Marketing, Pricing, Operation etc.

Your experience and background: 

  • You have great SQL skills and a keen interest in analytics, including data definition language as well as data manipulation language. 
  • You are fluent in English and preferably fluent in at least one of the Nordic languages 
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is considered a plus, along with exposure to programming languages such as Java.
