Behavioural modelling team is part of the Group Finance area, which is responsible for managing the bank’s liquidity and interest rate risks. By joining Group Finance, you will get very good insights into how a bank is run because Group Finance sits within the heart of the bank, with significant focus on this area both from senior management and from regulators.

You will join our small, skilled, and friendly team, where a wide spectrum of skills and tasks allows you the freedom to solve problems your way, offering enough time for research with a great emphasis on quality. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building predictive models and utilising data science techniques in order to predict the development of the bank’s balance sheet. Your main workplace will be located in Vilnius office.

Depending on your experience, you may be offered a different seniority of the role.

You will:

  • Develop behavioural models, including data preparation, methodology design, and technical implementation
  • Collaborate with end users, developers, and other stakeholders to implement data discoveries and processes into already existing infrastructure
  • Drive improvements to the processes within the modelling area
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in a wide range of domains
  • Share your knowledge and insights with the team and stakeholders

About you:

  • At least 2 years of experience in data science and modelling
  • Proven experience in programming languages: Python and SQL
  • Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other relevant fields
  • Team-oriented and collaborative personality while also being capable of working autonomously
  • Curious and eager to learn new concepts and ways of working
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills
  • Expertise in Tableau would be beneficial

Monthly salary range from 2640 EUR to 3960 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
