Team Summary:
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability.
Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, data modelling, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results. Currently the team has 800+ professionals (including consultants, data scientists and economics) globally with 1,350+ projects executed in 2022. Key focus areas of VCA in this year are to drive Value-in-kind (VIK) revenue, include consulting VIK to displace cash incentives in every new or renewal client deals and build a strong team of data scientists and consultants.
The incumbent will be part of VCA geographic team cluster of Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia (IPVMC) markets, and will be responsible for advisory engagements with Visa's clients in this cluster. These are highly diversified geographies with clients at different levels of progress. You will be challenged to stretch your thinking and innovation is always an edge to the work that we do.
What a Data Scientist will do and learn at Visa:
The Data Scientist will be a member of the Asia Pacific Data Science team and report to the Data Science Lead for Vietnam. The position will be based in Visa’s Vietnam office in Hanoi, however, project support may be needed for clients in Ho Chi Minh City as required.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
