The Position
As a Data Scientist you will generate unique disease insights and epidemiological information to improve patient care and support business needs. Your activities will include:

  • Develop and deliver analytics techniques to address clinical questions and problems, such as text mining analysis, data visualization, data mining, statistical modelling, and machine learning.
  • Drive innovation in real-world data (RWD) analytics by implementing new analytic methods, platforms, and technologies to answer research and business questions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on RWD sources, their utility, and novel analytic methods.
  • Validate, interpret, and present data findings to key stakeholders, translating data analysis into meaningful stories that inspire action.
  • Contribute to the development of new standards and practices in data science.

Qualifications

  • You hold a doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, ScD), or a master's degree in fields such as outcomes research, epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, or predictive analytics
  • Solid experience working in the Data Science field in a professional capacity and skills using statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Python, SPSS, and/or Stata), database query (SQL) or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred.
  • Experience working with longitudinal RWD assets (e.g., claims, electronic health records, and/or surveys).
  • It will be considered as a plus if you have Pharmaceutical industry background.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
