You will play a vital role in the team's new initiatives and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as product and engineering, to develop innovative risk strategies.
Your day to day:
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, deploy model and risk strategies into production, and ensure their scalability and reliability. Partner with key stakeholders to design the new risk platform and ensure better quality of risk decisions
Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to provide insights on fraud trends and strategy improvement opportunities and monitor risk strategy performance and continuously refine methodologies to improve fraud detection accuracy and efficiency
Data Management: Build robust risk abnormality detections and critical risk signals to identify fraud patterns. Stay updated on the latest advancement in data science, machine learning and fraud detection techniques, and apply them to enhance current strategies.
What do you need to bring:
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in analytical tools and languages such as SQL, Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Tabeau, Power BI)
Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work efficiently
Education: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative discipline plus two (2) years of experience in or two (2) years of experience in the field of data analysis or statistical analysis
OR bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics or closely related quantitative discipline plus three (3) years of experience in the or three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of data analysis or statistical analysis
