About us:
As part of Intel Incubation and Disruptive Innovation (IDI) team, we are developing AI-based products for healthcare.
The team is built as a startup within Intel, developing AI algorithms in computer vision and Natural Language Processing (NLP) fields.
The models are deployed as part of a full product.
What Will You Do?
You will be helping to train and deploy AI models on language inputs.
The job will require to a lot of learning in the field of Deep Learning and Large Language Model training.
- MSc/Ph.D. student focusing on Machine Learning / Deep Learning, including a thesis in this field.
- Relevant disciplines of studies: computer science, engineering, statistics or equivalent.
- Strong ML/DL knowledge + experience in solving data science problems using these methods.
- Highly motivated to solve real-world problems and create a high impact in practice.
- Substantial experience in programming in Python.
- Familiarity with Deep Learning and NLP frameworks, such as PyTorch, Hugging face and sk-learn
- Team player with great communication skills, who can also work independently and methodically.
- Capacity to work at least 20 hours a week, and studies expected to continue for at least 1.5 years.
Preferred:
- Practical experience in adapting LLMs for specific problems.
- Proven engineering and coding experience
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
