Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Duties to include: Partner with members of the data science team, the Senior Leadership, Technology teams, Product Managers, Marketing Operations teams, Analytics, and members of other teams to support and manage the delivery of our data science efforts; coordinate the work of a team of data scientists to promote data-driven insights; develop and implement a set of techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software; apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured data sets; own the data analytics roadmap and strategy; manage projects that combine data science and business intelligence applications into customer-facing solutions; build the framework for quick customization of existing products; evaluate data sets and arrange proof of concept work; lead pilot releases, customer communication, and training; conduct machine learning model evaluations, deployments, and monitoring; and manage the creation of dynamic data reports to promote data-driven decision-making. Telecommuting is available for this position from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires four (4) years of experience in the following:
Salary: $170,000
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
