The Marketing Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team plays a vital role in empowering the Marketing organization to make data-driven decisions. By building strategy grounded in actionable insights and analysis, this team helps marketers and cross-functional partners understand their target audiences, evaluate creative, campaign and media strategies and measure their impact. We also build new data and insight capabilities to understand consumer perception and behaviors.
We are looking for an experienced Global Lead - Marketing Data Science to enable the Marketing organization with cutting edge data and analytical capabilities to make decisions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both marketing and data science, with a proven track record of building new capabilities and enhancing existing ones. You are someone who deeply understands how brand perceptions are formed but also how they lead to desired behaviors. Your ability to build data driven capabilities across the entire marketing funnel will spot light opportunities to drive business outcomes for the team and the stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and improve analytics, measurement and insights capabilities using observational and causal methods.
- Build predictive and econometric models such as marketing mix models, forecasting, propensity to convert or take next best action, targeting etc using in-house resources or work with best in class partners.
- Build budget setting, allocation and simulation capabilities to inform optimized investments by market and global to maximize the marketing and business outcomes. Partner with 3rd parties to where needed to build these capabilities.
- Evaluate new measurement and insight offerings from a methodology point of view and onboard these solutions for application at scale.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques and tools to analyze marketing data and extract actionable insights from multiple types of data sources such as attitudinal, behavioral and social listening.
- Conduct meta analysis of data to present holistic learnings that could be used by rest of the team to understand the holistic impact and optimization strategies for the future.
- Build data infrastructure to house and create wide access through dashboards for insights data, marketing performance and spend, marketing effectiveness analysis etc.
- Enable data and analytical foundation for storing, analyzing and reporting data related to owned channels such as email, push and in-app notifications to help cross-functional teams optimize and grow the business impact. Build measurement strategy, learning agendas and report effectiveness focused on owned channels.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in marketing technology, marketing data science, and analytics, and identify opportunities to leverage emerging trends and technologies.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the marketing data science team, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations and reports.
- Collaborate with external partners, including agencies and vendors, to leverage additional expertise and resources as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with statistical modeling techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools.
- Demonstrated experience in building data infrastructure and visualizations to make the data accessible around the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in marketing, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Experience designing or building data infrastructure, retrieval and visualization systems in partnership with data focused XFN teams. Background in building data infrastructure in partnership with external vendors and partners.
- Demonstrated experience building new measurement and insights solutions or products internally or in partnership with 3rd parties.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $147000 - $270000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
