Job Description

The Role: 
We are looking for an experienced Data Science Manager to join our team and enhance our data capabilities. As part of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling our data intelligence, leading our data science team in implementing, optimizing, and experimenting with Truum’s algorithms. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate needs into refined software solutions.

More specifically, you will:

  • Spearhead the creation and implementation of machine learning models, including deep learning and reinforcement learning models.
  • Supervise the integration of AI in our data analysis and prediction systems to boost the precision and efficiency of our services.
  • Keep abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies, leveraging this knowledge to foster continuous innovation within the company.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to incorporate AI models into the company’s software solutions.
  • Formulate strategies to address data quality issues, inconsistencies, and integration of different data sources.
  • Expand Truum’s data capabilities in terms of architecture, performance, scalability, and agility.
  • Attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
  • Cultivate a customer-centric, technologically bold team that drives innovation for customer benefit.
  • Initiate new ideas for data unification, automation, and expansion of our data analysis capabilities.
  • Promote technology leverage by building modular algorithmic components and simplifying technology footprint across diverse data analysis modules.
  • Influence business strategy by understanding critical business metrics and shaping the overall product direction and strategy.

Qualifications

We are interested in applicants who have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a proven track record of building algorithmic solutions widely used in consumer products.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing AI models that have positively impacted business outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in applying AI techniques, particularly machine learning, to real-world problems.
  • Ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and executing AI projects from start to finish.
  • Thorough understanding of data structures and algorithms, distributed technologies, public cloud technologies.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Experience with Language Model (LLM) and its applications.
  • Extensive experience in the design, development, and delivery of data analysis components with a massive customer base.
  • Proven success in a strategic technical leadership role with large-scale data projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate a clear vision for architecture to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests in a complex and fast-paced environment.
