The Data Science intern will apply analytical, cloud computing, and machine learning knowledge to identify opportunities for growth in the space of hotel attachment in the travel marketplace. Understand why travelers, corporations, and/or Travel Management Corporations book business flights on Sabre, but not a hotel. Devise a strategy to ensure that business travelers book not only air but hotel as well on the Sabre platform.

Role and Responsibilities

• Data exploration/pattern recognition
• Identify areas of unexpected weakness and strength in the hotel booking landscape
• Communicate findings with sales and product consultants.
• Develop metrics to continuously monitor performance
• Automate processes using GCP tools

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements 

• Currently pursuing a degree with a graduation date after August 2024
• 3-5 years coding experience in one of the following: python/R.
• 1-3 years in one of the following: SQL/Shell.
• Some experience/knowledge with cloud computing in any of: GCP/AWS/Azure etc.
