Corporate Treasury manages the firm’s liquidity, funding, balance sheet and capital to maximize net interest income and return on equity through liability planning and execution, financial resource allocation, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio management.

Corporate Treasury Operations is a subdivision of Corporate Treasury. As a global, multi-faceted and cross-product subdivision, our primary objectives are to lead the development of new payments-centric businesses, while building scale and improving agility to adapt to a rapidly changing payment landscape; act as a first line of defence for control and governance to protect the firm’s financial assets; and incorporate differentiated client service to be best in class.  Corporate Treasury Operations is a growing subdivision globally, with regional presence in Singapore, Tokyo, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, London, Warsaw, Frankfurt, New York, Dallas, Salt Lake City and Sao Paulo with all our offices working closely together as a global team. 

The subdivision has a rare opportunity to support products and businesses ranging across existing and new business lines, multiple payment types, and multiple client types, including franchise/institutional, consumer and corporate cash management sectors.  We manage a wide range of complex processes, with members developing skills and competencies around cash management (payment controls, bank account management, settlements and reconciliations, claims), change management, regulatory requirements, and industry trends. 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL 

This role will reside in the Corporate Treasury Operations Business Intelligence team within Corporate Treasury.  

  • Inform, influence, and execute new data analytics initiatives that meaningfully shift core metrics in the positive direction.
  • Measuring business performance & risk using existing data analytics toolkit, and sharing insights with Operations management
  • Apply relevant product and market knowledge, quantitative analysis, and data-mining skills to develop deep analytical insights around products and processes across a variety of data sets and platforms.
  • Analyze process data across multiple systems and flows, develop key tracking metrics, and build visualization to help end users and process managers to understand and use these metrics to solve short term and long-term goals.
  • Source large sets of data from multiple sources (APIs, Files, Databases), transform and normalize the data; design dimensional data models and load transformed data into relational databases.
  • Create objective data driven stories that influence and convince leadership teams to act based on data-driven insights.
  • Develop data analytics solutions using SQL and Business Intelligence software (such as Alteryx for data extraction, transformation and loading, and Tableau for data visualization)
  • Foster Agile methodology to actively manage sprints and working with all stakeholders on the progress of each sprint.
  • Work to demanding timescales in a fast-paced team working environment.
  • Maintain Business Intelligence book of work and lead data-driven initiatives across the organization’s senior manager and VP stakeholders.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization and represent the Business Intelligence team to deliver communications and training to the wider program.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, track and deliver data-driven insights.
  • Ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across all BI systems/assets. 
  • Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security.
  • Develop reporting and monitoring metrics, identifying issues, and making recommendations to resolve business problems.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators to measure the effectiveness of BI initiatives.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques to enhance decision-making capabilities

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate degree and professional experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data science or related fields
  • 4+ years of experience and strong proficiency in SQL.
  • 4+ years of experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight)
  • Experience in ETL tools (such as Alteryx) and BI infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of implementing initiatives for business growth through data-driven strategies.
  • Experience creating compelling narratives from data and influencing adoption of these narratives amongst cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills; comfortable working with large data sets and presenting findings that tell a clear, insightful, and compelling story.
  • Ability to abstract and communicate technical content and analytical insights to multiple audiences with varying levels of complexity.
  • Analytical, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with a strong sense of detail and urgency within a fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines and targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence at all levels of the organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Banking experience preferably in payments, cash management and /or liquidity related functions in a product development or change management capacity.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting requirements with full testing traceability
  • Proficient in using multi-dimensional data modelling/data warehousing for data analytics and reporting.
  • Proficient in predictive analytics using tools such as Python, R, or Alteryx.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining ETL processes using a vast array of tools.
  • Proficient in using IaaC (infrastructure as a code) in the enterprise setup to create system accounts, establish cloud-based warehouses and well-versed with database maintenance and migration.
  • Proficient in Git and SDLC in enterprise-wide infrastructure for BI projects.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
