The Position

As a Clinical Data Science & Evidence Director, you will be a people manager responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) team, Data Scientists, and Project Managers ensuring that the team meets its objectives and delivers high quality work. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring this team, developing them and monitoring their performance. You will have close contact with the Clinical Data Science & Evidence team in the USA as a direct report to the Vice President of the area and will be an active participant in the Clinical Data Science & Evidence leadership team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support to the HEOR team to accelerate the development and communication of the Evidence and Insights Generation Plans and Synthesis Package, also providing project management support tracking the metrics, impacts and strategic activities.
  • Support the Data Scientists and Project Managers in understanding the business needs, validates, interprets and presents the data findings to key stakeholders.
  • Liaison with team members, partner/vendors and other stakeholders to obtain feedback or input on deliverables and implement feedback effectively.

Qualifications

  • You hold a University Degree in healthcare related field such as pharmacy, heath economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, public health, business/health services research. Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Solid experience in a relevant field of study with background in payor, healthcare or preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
  • Training and/or extensive knowledge of Clinical Research, Health Economics & Outcomes Research, and/or Real World Evidence Studies is required.
  • Strong Process, Operations, and Project Management Skills and a minimum formal project Management Training is desired.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • We expect a candidate with collaborative approach to problem solving and ability to plan and multi-task.
