Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Technical Project Manager to join our growing team. You will be working directly with customers in the Utility and Energy space and will need to have prior experience in the Utility industry, ideally with exposure to SaaS and AI based solutions. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of customer projects. Beyond successful project delivery a critical part of the role is collaborating with Product Development, to help set product vision and strategy, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle for computer vision initiatives, from inception to deployment and ongoing support.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company strategy.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and effectively manage resources to achieve milestones and deadlines.
Define the product strategy and roadmap.
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and models with customers and the UX team to more deeply understand customer needs.
Work with engineering and design teams to deliver on the customer scope.
Be a key part of the Agile development process, facilitating communication and collaboration between all departments involved.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a Product or Project Management role, preferably in a tech / SaaS company or in a Utility company focused on inspections and computer vision technology
Strong understanding of computer vision algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and image processing techniques.
Proven experience working with Agile development methodologies.
Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and machine learning technologies.
Experience working with large Energy companies and/or Utility companies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a startup organization.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Extensive experience in AI/ML products or platforms.
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product and a large complex engagement throughout its lifecycle from start to finish.
Proven ability to manage a distributed team across multiple time zones and countries and effectively communicate developments and needs to executive management.
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and machine learning.
