Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Business Analyst with experience in AI and data projects to join our team. This role is for a data-heavy, AI innovation project for a top global consulting firm. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, analyze business needs, and ensure the successful delivery of data-driven AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including data scientists, data engineers, and business leaders, to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Agile Methodologies: Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure the Agile process is followed and continuously improved.

• Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and project direction.

• AI Project Support: Work closely with AI/ML teams to understand the intricacies of AI models and algorithms, ensuring business requirements align with technical capabilities.

• User Stories: Develop clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile artifacts to guide the development process.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication channels with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

• Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring that all changes are communicated and approved by stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focused on AI or data projects.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data analysis techniques.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Familiarity with data processing and ETL tools.

• Agile Expertise: Proven experience working in Agile environments, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices.

• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or PMI-ACP are highly desirable.
