About the role: The Reconciliation Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions through thorough reconciliation processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, and the ability to gather and analyze stakeholder inputs. The ideal candidate will have experience automating reconciliation in a fintech or financial services environment, working in close collaboration with the product / financial teams, and having a keen eye for detail.



Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize SQL to query databases and extract relevant data for reconciliation purposes.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness for a variety of Tabby Products;
  • Develop and implement reconciliation processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies between internal and external statements;
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance, operations, and technology teams, to highlight and resolve the gaps to fully automate reconciliation company-wise
  • Prepare and present reconciliation reports to management, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of reconciliation processes and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations. 
  • Manage and maintain the life cycle of relevant reconciliation tools/tables. 


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a reconciliation role, preferably within a fintech or financial services company.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis. Experience working with Tableau and BigQuery will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with financial systems and reconciliation tools.
  • Ability to gather and analyze inputs from various stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
