Job Description: 

Zapata AI is seeking an outstanding, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist who is equal parts execution-oriented and creative and will play a key role in implementing and managing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads. You will be responsible for various aspects of our marketing efforts, including event execution, digital marketing, social media and content management, and managing agency relationships. A typical day may be spent working with teammates and/or our agencies to make updates to our website, co-developing new content and materials, coordinating logistics for an upcoming conference, or supporting the production of a new thought leadership piece. You will report to our Marketing Director and work closely with a highly collaborative marketing and BD team as well as have exposure to the executive team and our scientists and engineers. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Digital Marketing Efforts: Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and web. Manage and create new website content as well as update existing to ensure it is engaging, still relevant, and optimized for SEO. Project manage agency relationships and coordinate with internal stakeholders, as needed. Monitor and analyze traffic and performance using tools like Google Analytics and suggest improvements/ new strategic focus areas based on gathered insights. 
  • Demand Generation & Content Creation: Assist in execution of targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive sales opportunities. Create compelling and relevant short-form content for channels including social media, email newsletters, and website. Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing marketing material. 
  • Event Management & Strategy: Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, trade shows, and other promotional activities. Develop event lead gen and brand awareness strategies and manage event logistics, including budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. Evaluate event success and generate post-event reports with actionable insights. 
  • Editorial Calendar & Social Media Management: Coordinate and maintain the editorial calendar, ensuring timely production and publication of content across various platforms. Manage social media accounts, including content planning, posting, and engagement. Analyze performance and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach. 

Requirements: 

  • Self-motivator with excellent project management and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple projects at any given time 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. 
  • 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when needed. 
  • Passion and curiosity for edge technologies. 
  • Scrappy use of tools, find-a-way mentality. 

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  

  • Relevant experience and interest in B2B and/or emerging tech 
  • Preferred experience with WordPress, HubSpot, Figma, Google Analytics 
  • Fluency in modern digital marketing strategy and tactics 
  • Social media communication 
  • Bonus: Video experience (for example, scripting, shooting, editing)
