The Core AI, BI & Data Platforms Team has been established to create, operate, and run the Enterprise AI, BI & Data that facilitate the time to market for reporting, analytics and data science teams to run experiments, train models and generate insights as well as evolve and run the CoCounsel application and its shared capability of CoCounsel AI Assistant.  

The Lead Business Analyst, Core AI BI & Data Platforms will facilitate the build and operation of the centralized Core AI & Data platforms by managing the product and software development, ensuring that teams follow Agile practices and work towards increasing the team efficiency. The Lead Business Analyst, Core AI BI & Data Platforms is expected to be an expert in Agile methodology while setting up and streamlining Boards, sprint planning and capturing metrics to continue to drive process improvements.

This role is for India, one of the strategic Thomson Reuters locations.

About the Role

In this opportunity you will: 

  • Maintain/manage ADO board and backlogs 
  • Facilitate planning, demo, retro and grooming meetings for multiple teams 
  • Identify and remove impediments that are blocking the team’s progress
  • Facilitate Release planning and check-in meetings 
  • Assist with onboarding new resources 
  • Maintain Teams memberships and Outlook distribution lists 
  • Assist in metric reporting 
  • Maintain up-to-date Atrium pages by incorporating the latest Platforms’ services information, including release notes, demos and presentation materials
  • Transform rough drafts into polished, clear and comprehensible presentation slides for various audiences
  • Monitor and ensure timely updates of various teams metrics on Workboard and maintain organized tracking of these updates
  • Learn new technologies (Power Platform)

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Lead Business Analyst, Core AI BI & Data Platforms if you meet all or most of these criteria:

  • 7 years in Project Management or Business Analysis
  • Be an expert with Azure DevOps (ADO) 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively run cross location meetings 
  • Maintain planning status and be able to keep large teams on track
  • Have experience on managing expectations and raising risks as needed
  • Be detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex data into clear and concise information for diverse audiences
  • Have basic knowledge of software development processes to understand team needs 
  • Be able to handle conflict resolution
