Job Title: GenAI/ LLM Developer for Data Management 

Summary:
You will be working for the Enterprise Data Management Technology (EDT) team within the SAP IT organization. Among other services, the EDT teams are responsible to ensure high data quality for SAP's own managed IT landscape. To improve the data quality, the EDT teams own many data quality services. Typical services are Data Matching and Standardization services, Data Deduplication services, Address Cleansing services, Data Mapping services, or Vulgar Words Check. In the future, GenAI will play a central role in Data Management. Your role will bring our data quality services to the next generation using GenAI technology.

The Role:

•    Join a global IT business technology team and work on large, complex Data Management projects.
•    Validate machine learning use cases through proof-of-concepts using Large Language Models on the SAP AI Business Technology Platform.
•    Design, implement, and test complex AI-empowered systems to address business challenges in Data Management.
•    Collaborate with AI scientists and developers through knowledge sharing and best practice exchanges.
•    Apply Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, such as Agile.

What You Bring

•    Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
•    Experience in Software Engineering, specializing in AI and Cloud Platforms, preferably with a Data Management background.
•    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.
•    Knowledge and exposure to Large Language Models for application development.
•    Solid understanding of REST APIs and their development.
•    Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), testing, security, and documentation.
•    Experience with programming frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
•    Ability to convert prototypes into productive AI-empowered systems.
•    Strong SQL development skills.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
