Your mission

Join our team as the Head of Content Marketing, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, and assume full responsibility for our attention and content conversion objectives, developing a unique strategy to captivate our target customers in the enterprise automation sector. You will shift seamlessly from high-level strategic planning to hands-on content generation to bring your vision to life, guaranteeing a cohesive approach to strategy, execution, and swift adaptation across a multitude of marketing channels. In this critical role, you will also direct our company toward embracing Generative AI to significantly boost productivity and preserve our competitive advantage through agility and swift execution.

Your profile

Strategy & Planning
  • Ownership of Attention & Conversion: Lead our content generation strategy, taking full ownership of how this translates into goals and deliverables, ensuring a growing awareness base and pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Technical Depth: Bring a deep understanding of the complexity of the  B2B automation space, understanding the market, AI/ML, data management, human-in-the-loop, as well as the complexity of buying centers in companies and how to craft content for these target groups across various industries.
  • Audience Expertise: Constantly upgrade your understanding of the customer and the problems they need to solve and use that to build communication that differentiates, polarizes and resonates.
  • Campaign Development: Leverage your strong understanding of channels, creative and messaging types to capture attention that converts over time, while building our brand identity.
  • Design & Brand Savvy: Have a strong emotional, visual and verbal understanding of the experiential elements a brand and translate that into strong visual design and written communication.
  • Leadership: We are looking for a unicorn, a bright, talented leader who will grow the content part of the business from 0 to 1, demonstrating results and delivering to ensure we prioritize this area.

Execution
  • Copywriting and Design: Have a deep understanding of how to use visuals and text to convey the right message or narrative to customers and drive desired outcomes for your strategy.
  • Hands On: This is a hands on role that requires collaboration and the ability to drive communication with confidence across web, blog, social, whitepapers, e-books, PR and other channels. As this role delivers results, we will invest more in support via people and financial resources.
  • Attention to Detail: Has an eye for detail and monitors how communication aligns with our market positioning, UVPs, brand guidelines, SEO goals and conversion objectives.
  • Focus on Distribution & Results: Streamline high quality content creation, crafting and supervising the distribution of messages across channels, ensuring our presence resonates throughout the enterprise customer journey and delivers results.

Qualifications:
  • Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead content marketing strategies with a keen understanding of enterprise B2B SaaS markets, especially in automation and with a strong AI focus.
  • Technical Background: We value candidates who bring a technical background and can demonstrate proof of how they have created content that wins in technical markets.
  • Technology Leveraging: Capacity to utilize the latest technology, especially GenAI, to achieve massive productivity enhancements in marketing efforts.
  • Rapid Implementation: A proven track record in fast-paced environments, showcasing swift strategic planning and implementation to keep up with market dynamics.
  • Agency Management: Skilled in managing relationships and outputs from specialized marketing agencies once we decide to hire them, ensuring they meet our ambitious content marketing targets.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a versatile marketing expert, crafting attractive and persuasive content tailored to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) while collaborating closely with our CMO.
  • Lead various marketing and growth experiments aimed at generating inbound leads and enhancing conversion rates through diverse channels like Linkedin, blog pages, Landing pages, funnels, events and webinars.
  • Take charge of our brand development, strategically building and enhancing our market presence.
  • Plan and execute various events targeted at engaging our ICP, leveraging your understanding of complex buying centres within target industries such as insurance and banking.
  • Foster and grow a sustainable community around our brand and mission through innovative initiatives.
  • Manage our social media channels and oversee public relations projects, ensuring our messaging resonates across web platforms, social media, whitepapers, and blogs.

Your Profile
  • Possess 4 years + of relevant experience in a top agency or a similar role within a high-growth startup or scale-up, ideally with a background in B2B automation and a technical understanding of AI/ML.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in data-scarce environments and to lead initiatives from conception to fruition.
  • Proven track record of building communities and brands, with a flair for researching and crafting targeted content for various industries.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with a proactive "can do" attitude and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of wearing multiple hats and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced with various tools ranging from HubSpot and Webflow to Canva and Airtable, with a solid foundation in content creation and leadership within the automation space.
  • Fluent in English at a native level.
  • Bonus points for having a technical education in Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
