Job Description
At the Bosch Connectory in the heart of Stuttgart, various teams are working on the topics of tomorrow: digitalisation, innovation and automation.
- As a Fullstack Developer at Bosch you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of web applications in the area of generative AI. This involves engaging with customers to understand their requirements, designing and developing AI solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and integration of the final product.
- You will work collaboratively with a team of full stack developers, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
- Design, develop, and implement web applications and APIs in the area of generative AI, which starts with chat bots and could end in fine tuning language models will also be part of your tasks.
- Moreover, you optimize prompts to ensure the effective performance of AI models and perform testing, validation and optimization of the web application and AI models to ensure high performance and accuracy.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- In additional, your expertise will support you to engage with customers to gather and understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Last but not least you provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed AI solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: completed university degree in computer science, data science, business informatics, mathematics or a comparable subject
- Experience and Knowledge: several years of experience as a fullstack developer creating web applications using Kotlin or Java with knowledge in SpringBoot on Kubernetes; experience in working with large language models such as openAI GPT, LLama, etc.; expertise in prompt engineering to refine and improve AI model outputs; several years of proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar web development frameworks; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI model deployment; knowledge of additional AI frameworks and libraries such as LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc. is beneficial; strong background in requirements engineering, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions; experience in frontend development with Typescript or React is a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: you have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively; strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment characterize you
- Languages: fluent in written and spoken German and English
*In accordance with our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position is at least EUR 84.000 for a 35h week (for a full year of employment and fulfillment of the eligibility requirements based on collective agreements) in the case of a comprehensive execution of job requirements. In addition, there is an individual, performance-related pay, a bonus based on the company's success, as well as employer benefits for the Bosch pension plan.
