Collibra DG – JD for Manager (9-12 years)
Common Technical skills requirements
- Should have 9-12 years of experience in Data governance processes and frameworks
- Must have hands on experience in Collibra modules – Catalog, Workflows, lineage, DQ, Harvester, data marketplace etc
- Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices
- Should exhibit a keen eye for value-adds and asset creation, to facilitate reusability and automation of processes.
- Good exposure to DB technologies and SQL.
- Knowledge of the Cloud landscape – AWS, Azure etc.
- Knowledge of other DG tools preferred – e.g. Informatica EDC/Axon
- Good to have - Industry certifications such as DCAM, CDMP etc.
Specific Role requirements
- Must have completed at least 2-3 full life cycle DG implementations
- Must have experience architecting end-to-end data governance solutions, bringing in the leading design best practices.
- Must have hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, plus workflow development using Activiti/Flowable plugins
- Should be familiar with data stewardship and workflow processes
- Should be familiar with data lineage and cataloging in the context of Collibra
- Should be familiar with configuring connectors and Harvester in Collibra
- Must have hands-on experience across the various phases of data quality management - data profiling, data integration, validation, cleansing, standardization, matching, consolidation etc.
- Fair understanding of Data Integration and ETL solutions
- Good team player with excellent business communication, Consulting, process quality management skills
- BE/B.Tech/MCA with adequate industry experience
Your client responsibilities
- Ability to lead/guide Data Governance engagements, involving cross functional teams
- Architect and design DG solutions independently
- Provide product and design level technical best practices
- Interface and communicate with the onsite/client contacts
- Provide timely status and leadership reports to client/internal stakeholders
Your people responsibilities
- Should guide and mentor junior team members on DG technologies
- Help the firm scale up the DG capabilities further, through trainings and internal initiatives
