WHAT TO EXPECT

Come and join JLR as a Lead AI Governance Specialist. You are poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the ethical use of AI at JLR.

You will be instrumental in AI Governance at JLR. This is an emerging specialism that will allow the successful candidate to contribute to defining and embedding best practices and standards across the AI solution development lifecycle, as well as expertise in operating AI Governance processes.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Translating AI Policy / Data & AI Ethics Principles into AI standards / practices / assurance mechanisms and knowledge resources covering all stages of the AI system development lifecycle
  • Conduct external research to identify best practices and standards relevant to all stages of the AI system development lifecycle
  • Conduct consultations with the business to assess AI business practices that will inform AI standard development
  • Work closely with various risk areas to ensure alignment with proposed best practices and standards for AI system development
  • Educate & raise awareness across JLR on AI best practices and standards and how they can be practically applied
  • Ensure Governance Process for AI / Generative AI is adhered to and risk assessments are performed for AI use cases to identify potential risks and ethical considerations and propose mitigation strategies

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Proficient in AI & Data Science, possessing proven previous work experience developing and deploying to production AI & Data Science solutions
  • Knowledge of AI Ethics / Responsible AI
  • Good knowledge of ML/Ops
  • Good knowledge of Python, SQL, and Cloud computing platforms
  • Governance experience
