The successful candidate will work directly with the Head of Delegate Sales and play a key role in driving revenue for our major international conferences and exhibitions in Las Vegas and Paris. They will employ their sales expertise to attract high-quality delegates from the world’s leading employers and most forward-thinking organisations, and ensure our events are well-attended and diverse.

About the role

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you'll be integral to our marketing operations, focusing on strategic initiatives to elevate our brand presence. Your role involves the hands-on execution of digital campaigns, combining creativity and strategic insight to contribute to organisational growth.

Three main accountabilities:

  • Digital Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies for events, encompassing both organic and paid online advertising and social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
  • Campaign Execution and Optimization: Plan, implement, and analyse digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with event goals, resonate with the target audience, and deliver measurable results. Continuously optimise campaigns based on analytics and insights.
  • Digital Presence Enhancement: Oversee the management of the company's online presence, including website optimisation, social media platforms, and other digital channels. Ensure consistent branding, user experience, and effective utilisation of digital tools for maximum impact on event promotion and attendee acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Support:

  • Assist in the day-to-day activities of the marketing team.
  • Collaborate to foster a dynamic and high-performance team culture.

Strategic Execution:

  • Implement strategic digital marketing plans aligned with organisational goals.
  • Utilize market research for data-driven decision-making.

Campaign Execution:

  • Execute and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for campaign success.

Digital Branding:

  • Contribute to enhancing the organisation’s digital brand identity.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across digital channels.

Budget Assistance:

  • Support in managing and allocating budgets effectively.
  • Assist in monitoring expenses.

Market Insight:

  • Aid in conducting market research for insights into trends and opportunities.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine digital marketing strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate on mutually beneficial promotional activities.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining digital partnerships.

Performance analysis:

  • Assist in establishing KPIs for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in analysing and reporting on campaign performance.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager, preferably in the events industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and strategies.
  • Strong social media management, email marketing, and content creation proficiency.
  • Demonstrated success in SEO and SEM campaigns.
  • Proficient in analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Budget management experience in a digital marketing context.
  • Familiarity with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
