Data Scientist / Pricing Analyst (f/m/d)

Future fields of activity

- Development of stochastic forecasting models (risk / lapse / conversion models) and technical rates including the use of state-of-the-art algorithms for data analysis (esp. machine learning, data mining) Innovative further development of the existing actuarial methodology to solve actuarial issues

- Optimization of pricing using AI and machine learning methods with the help of internal and external data sources

- End-to-end responsibility in cross-functional projects and active co-design of strategic initiatives of the Allianz Group

- Strategic tariff development and actuarial support in tariff and product development  as well as development and parameterization of pricing tools in underwriting

- Preparation of actuarial analyses and dashboards

- Preparation of results and presentation

- Exchange with international pricing colleagues on the latest developments

Our requirements

- Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, data science or a comparable subject

- Ideally already practical experience in the creation of stochastic forecasting models and technical tariffs or with corresponding big data methods (machine learning, data mining, etc.) as well as in the use of corresponding software (e.g. Emblem, Radar, Radar Live, SAS, R, Python, Java)

- Professional experience or basic knowledge in the insurance sector is an advantage

- Knowledge of related areas (e.g. reserving, risk management, accounting, controlling, investment management) an advantage

- Proven ability to work independently with a willingness to develop new topics

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Open and confident manner towards internal and external partners, also in an international context

- Very good knowledge of German and English (C1)

JOB INFORMATION:

Starting date: immediately I Hours: 38.5 hours per week I Location: ICON Towers - directly at the main train station 1100 Vienna I

Gross annual salary: EUR 55,000 (willingness to overpay depending on qualifications)
