Aviva is seeking a Data Science Analyst who together with our Data Science community will be transforming Commercial Lines insurance at Aviva.
We are offering this role to someone with an appetite for problem solving and interrogating data with practical experience in programming and data management skills.

What you will be doing?
- Executing Aviva's Data Science Strategy
- Aiming to innovate and enhance operational team’s work
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you'll drive insights to optimize and automate processes
- Your focus will be on designing and implementing processes and tools addressing business needs, with the use of R, Python, SQL
- You will be solving complications regarding conditional rules, maintaining historic content, and supporting and shaping future changes
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Transferrable programming language experience such as R, Python
- Dashboard development skills, especially in R Shiny
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Building web frontends
- Ability to solve mathematical and logical problems
- Analytical mindset and creative thinker/problem solver
- Organised self-starter, with drive and commitment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and present to non-technical audiences
