Are you a master student in Data Analytics or Data Science in Business? Do you want to learn about value added processes and standardization in warehousing all over the world? Then this internship is interesting for you!
At ASML, the Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) Quality department focusses on service parts and tools (spare parts and tools needed for maintaining already operational machines at customers) and supports quality operations at our warehouses around the world. We own multiple processes and the working instructions for these processes, but we also weigh in on irregularities found during quality operations globally. By doing this we aim to prevent service parts being Dead on Arrival (DOA) at our customers and provide feedback to either suppliers, Design & Engineering (D&E) or 3rd party logistics suppliers (3PL) and prevent re-occurrence of these issues.
The CSCM Quality department is split into three teams; Tool Calibration and Certification, Warehouse Quality and Project Support. This assignment would be part of the Warehouse quality team, which again divides into three sub-teams, Stock purge management (SPM), DOA Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Clean Bench (CB). The CB team is responsible for operations in clean benches, which are mini cleanrooms located in 3PL warehouses. There are 50+ clean benches in operation, mostly in Asia and the US, but also in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Ireland and Israel.
For this internship, you will create a dashboard to visualize volume flow of inspections across ASML warehouses and customer fabs. You will build scenario playing functionalities to determine impact of changing inspection locations on cost and quality. Based on inspection data, you will generate insights to drive preventive actions.
