  • Support high-value use cases with the right level of governance and guardrails.
  • Tackle ambiguous ethical issues around the use of AI (e.g. transparency and explainability in AI systems), in partnership with subject matter experts.
  • Work with our Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, Government Relations and Risk functions to ensure Xero remains ahead of the expectations of customers, partners and regulators as the landscape continues to evolve (e.g. adapting to emerging legislation).

  • Support the efficient operation of governance functions, including our top level data governance forum.
  • Develop and deliver educational resources and programs to uplift Xero’s literacy around the responsible use of data and AI, in collaboration with our Learning Experience, Security Education, and Comms teams.
