About The Role:

Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Client Management & Marketing Intern to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in client support, marketing and business development within a fast-paced tech start-up environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Client Support (primary):

  • Provide assistance to clients via email, phone, and chat, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their inquiries.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by providing necessary information and support.
  • Gather and document client feedback to help improve products and services.
  • Collaborate with the product and technical teams to address client issues and requests.

Marketing (secondary):

  • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital and content marketing.
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Help in the development and maintenance of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and newsletters.
  • Support the management of social media accounts by creating, scheduling, and analysing content.

Business Development and Market Research (secondary):

  • Identify potential business opportunities and partnerships through research and analysis
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to expand the company's market presence
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build relationships
  • Support the creation of business development materials and presentations
  • Assist the sales team with lead generation and qualification through research and outreach
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to understand the sales process and product offerings
  • Help in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals
  • Support the sales team in maintaining customer relationships and follow-up activities

  • 6 months full-time internship role
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Location: Perth, Australia
  • Working arrangement: hybrid 
  • Monthly allowance provided to support some expenses

Requirements

About You:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business
  • Administration, Communication, or a related field
  • Strong interest in technology and start-up environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM and marketing tools is a plus
  • Self-motivated starter and able to work as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
