Nestlé USA, Inc. seeks an Analyst Data Scientist in Arlington, VA

Duties: Responsible for testing and implementing the advanced analytics methods to derive insights that drive business growth. Drive the execution of AI solutions to address business needs. Drive Enterprise Analytics (EA) priorities through rapid piloting and scaling of next gen technologies. Incorporate the latest data science thinking into product solutions and models. Build advanced data, analytical and automation capabilities while also delivering improved cross-functional insights to help the enterprise make faster and better decisions. Apply sophisticated algorithms to drive profitable growth across the enterprise. Collaborate with Senior Directors to generate and implement innovative, cross functional solutions. Collaborate with the Analytics and Insights teams at EA to provide acumen across each portfolio of the teams’ analytical projects. Analyze and interpret large and complex datasets to identify patterns, and build statistical and machine learning models that solve critical business problems. This could involve working with big data technologies such as Databricks, Azure ML, and Apache Spark. Develop Deep learning and Natural Language Processing models that can analyze and model complex data from various business processes. Evaluate and select AI technologies that can help the company achieve its business goals. This could involve researching and testing different tools and platforms.

Requirements:

Job requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field plus Two (2) years of experience in job offered or in data analyst role. Alternatively, employer will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related field with Zero (0) years of experience in job offered or in data analyst role.

Required experience must include each of the following:

  • Any amount of experience in R and Python programming languages to develop and apply advanced cognitive or machine learning methods and algorithms to address business priorities.
  • Any amount of experience developing and deploying advanced analytical models and algorithms.
  • Any amount of experience in machine learning techniques, such as Regression, Clustering, Probability Networks, AI, or Machine Learning.
  • Any amount of experience presenting data for partners using PowerBI and/or Tableau.
  • Any amount of experience in relational database (RDBMS) programs such as Snowflake and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Any amount of experience in development of recommendation engines (e.g., for sales, customer targeting, or supply chain engines).
  • Any amount of experience in development of optimization models.
  • Any amount of experience using agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.
