The Senior Professional Services Consultant - AI and Prompt Engineering, will play an integral role in working directly with Egnyte’s customers early in the Professional Services engagement cycle to determine how best to unlock the power of the Egnyte Platform – especially as it pertains to Egnyte’s new AI capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-driven prompt solutions for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP), strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This role will help architect best practice solutions that address specific customer business needs while being practical to implement and easy to service. You will be the critical link between the customer and the implementation team that will engineer the solution. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in technology consulting to take a leading role in driving Egnyte’s growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Partner with Egnyte’s customers to develop and refine AI-driven prompts to meet client-specific needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with these to understand their business requirements, data layout and business processes and translate them into effective prompt solutions to enhance efficiency within the customer organization.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and AI technologies.
  • Optimize prompt performance through iterative testing and feedback loops, as well as provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed prompt solutions during the customer’s onboarding process.
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate prompt solutions with existing systems and platforms, as well as provide them with valuable feedback from the field.
  • Document prompt designs, implementations, and best practices for internal and client use.
  • Work with other team members on the Egnyte Professional Services, Sales, Product and Customer Success teams to ensure value realization and expand opportunities.
  • Assist with customer architecture reviews during the sales cycle, and final solution planning post sales as needed.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6-8 years of experience with 3+ years focused on technology consulting, in customer facing roles.
  • Experience with AI consulting, through the lens of business process improvements and workflows. Understanding of data privacy and security considerations in AI applications.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools, and prompt engineering techniques is a major plus, as is certification in relevant AI/ML technologies or platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large enterprise customers, as well as with mid to small businesses. Experience with AEC (Architecture Engineering & Construction), Biotechnology or FinTech domains is a major plus.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
  • Record of consistently meeting objectives and exceeding targets at top-performing companies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technology, including comfort with technical concepts and eagerness to learn new technologies, especially AI.
  • Highly engaging communicator, quick to understand customer needs, and a team player above all.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. MBA is highly desirable.

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $120,000 to $135,000 annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience. During the interview and/or hiring process, your recruiter can share more information about the compensation package specific to the role and job location.
