Senior Product Manager, Marketing Algorithms and AI Apps
Marketing AI/ML Algorithms and Applications is the driving force behind some of the latest AI innovations in support of Salesforce Marketing. We are the decision intelligence team that identifies untapped value from our vast marketing data by building state of the art AI/ML algorithms, generating critical insights, and developing analytics applications and tools that enable Marketers and Marketing leadership to make decisions. We are truly at the heart of the Salesforce Data + AI + CRM vision, and collaborate across various Product, Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams to deliver our innovations.
We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to help shape and build the future of Customer Modeling products. The ideal candidate is a seasoned product manager with experience in SaaS/B2B Marketing analytics and data science products (relevant experience in customer segmentation, lead scoring, recommendation engines, Customer LTV, experience in LLMs & Gen AI products would be a plus).
Responsibilities:
Product strategy: Develop a deep understanding of business requirements, user needs, and leadership/C-level guidance to drive the strategic direction of Customer Modeling AI products.
Product development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user requirements. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and cross-product teams to establish and articulate a strategic product vision. Develop comprehensive product documentation and maintain roadmaps to guide future user experiences.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work effectively with stakeholders across departments, including marketing, sales, product and engineering, to ensure seamless product integrations and go-to-market strategies. Act as the key liaison ensuring x-team alignment in delivering exceptional AI products.
Continuous improvement: Stay abreast of emerging business needs and technologies, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in Customer Modeling products. Own various user forums and channels, integrating feedback from our users and stakeholders in our product backlogs and roadmaps.
Data-driven decision-making: Utilize a variety of metrics (KPIs) to monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize product success.
Project management: Effectively manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products within scope.
Required Experience:
Product management experience: At least 7+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record in SaaS/B2B Marketing analytics and data science products. Relevant experience in customer segmentation, lead scoring, recommendation engines, propensity modeling, and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) metrics would be a plus.
Technical proficiency: Familiarity with data science concepts and technologies, particularly in relation to customer modeling & Martech analytics.
Business acumen: Ability to understand and translate business requirements, user needs, and executive guidance into a strategic product vision. Experience in developing and executing product strategies that align with organizational goals and user requirements. Relevant experience in developing data science products in the SaaS/B2B marketing domain is important.
Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at senior levels.
Collaborative spirit: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, with demonstrated experience working effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and active listening skills, fostering close, trusting relationships with stakeholders.
Adaptability: Adapting to rapidly changing priorities and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excels in an agile environment (understanding of PgM tools like Asana, Jira would be required), consistently delivering outstanding product work under demanding deadlines. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity adeptly, persuading stakeholders, and achieving consensus in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics; Master’s degree is a plus.
Relevant experience in customer segmentation, lead scoring, recommendation engines, Customer LTV, experience in LLMs & Gen AI products would be a plus.
Experience in AI/ML product development (i.e., predictive models, recommendation engines) in SaaS/B2B marketing domain.
