Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, System Design, and Distributed Computing. 
  • Experience in Kubernetes (Administration and Troubleshooting)
  • Experience in Helm Charts
  • Experience in data structures, Unix/Linux systems, IP networking, performance, and application issues.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in the cloud-native applications space.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex distributed systems. Monitoring and Observability Practices.
  • Experience with GitOps.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Microservice architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute projects to improve the reliability of the Toggle platform.
  • Execute projects that will improve the reliability of our Products.
  • Reduce the operational work significantly for our footprint on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Leverage Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) strategies to deliver on-demand infrastructure.
  • Optimize existing systems, build infrastructure, and eliminate work through automation.
  • Implement GitOps strategies.
