Our department in the Data & Analytics function works with each of the businesses to enable the adoption of data and utilize analytics to enhance our products and services to our clients.

The workplace is located in new buildings in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

You will:

  • Identify opportunities for AI within strategic projects, with a focus on how to optimize our manual services
  • Drive prototypes of how solutions can be made to a point where the rest of the organisation can decide how to take them forward
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and, in many ways work as a front runner and internal consultant
  • Collaborate with the Global Insights team, which can help you with data access and insights, and which you can help with your knowledge of how AI/ML can improve the value of what the team does

About you:

You could have either a strong statistical/ML professional experience or alternatively you are strong in Python with a keen interest in moving to analytics area. Ideally both. Below is a list of all the competencies that we to a varying extent are looking for:

  • Programming knowledge: Proficiency in Python programming
  • Statistical Analysis: A good understanding of statistics is essential
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques from the real world
  • Data Visualization: Ability to visualize data in a manner that is understandable to non-technical stakeholders
  • Data Wrangling: The ability to map raw data and convert it into another format that allows for more convenient consumption of the data
  • Database Systems: some experience in SQL
  • Communication and social skills: Ability to communicate complex data in a clear, concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3280 EUR to 4920 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
