Job Description
Interacting with customers and customer success team to translate requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.
Designing and implementing a clinical data ingestion and export pipeline using a Data Lake.
Performing mapping of data fields from custom and healthcare standards formats (HL7/CCD/FHIR) into a normalized model.
Performing mapping of outbound data to custom and healthcare standards (HL7/CCD/FHIR) formats.
Creating and maintaining validation rules for incoming data.
Writing automated tests and performing manual testing of the ingestion and export pipelines.
Troubleshooting and fixing bugs in various stages of the SDLC including production.
Requirements
6+ years work experience in healthcare IT with 3+ years in clinical data integration and engineering.
Experience in customer interactions preferably with US healthcare customers gathering requirements, analyzing data and performing testing.
4+ years experience working with SQL databases like Postgres or Mysql. Experience working with Data Lakes (Snowflake, Databricks and Redshift) is a plus.
2+ years experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming in Python, Javascript or Java (Python preferred).
2+ years experience working in Linux/Unix based systems.
2+ years experience in RESTful Web services and JSON.
Good understanding of networking protocols such as HTTP, TCP, UDP, etc.
Experience with version control systems such as GIT and SVN.
Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR a must. Experience with CCDs a good-to-have.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and aptitude.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Quick learning abilities and aptitude to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment. Startup experience a plus.
Flexibility to work late evenings for customer and US team interactions.
